A Legend begins his new journey, after life... Seeing him on death bed, was yet another awakening moment I would say! At the end, this is where we are headed to... We all know our "Final Destination", a place that is still "Dark &Unknown" to us - what after that? Still, we are caught in our own web of ego, attitude, expectations, race for wealth & fame, competing for no reason, etc etc We value the materialistic gains / things, give undue weightage for negativity while we forget to bother & value the person or things that is alive and part of our "Current Known Life". And when one's journey comes to an end, what worth it is to rush to see them in their death-bed and feel for them? Did we value them when we had to, when they could appreciate?
Let such a time not come in our life with our near and dear ones, acquaintances or anyone who comes into our life. Each one comes into our life for some reason and their journey with us could be timed or timeless...but till we are together let us value and respect each other; rest, we can't force-fit ourself in anyone's life; at the same time after making efforts to mend differences, still if the path has to divulge, we need to accept it with grace and with equal respect and blessings for each other. We didn't bring anything along, didn't bring anyone along; but all that is part of our life is our doing -- so accept and value, as one does what best they can, rather than regret when they move away.
Life loudly and clearly does a reality-check from time to time. It shows us what "life actually means" while we continue with what "we think it means"!
It's me rambling aloud... while the legend Balu Mahendra sir's soul rests in peace, leaving behind his golden work to learn from and enjoy for lifetime!
